First Tenants at the WAL
With temporary CO in hand, initial tenants are moving in to the WAL- while work continues to wrap up the “loose ends” of this 40 million dollar adventure. Meanwhile work has started on the Bottle and Barlow (bar+Barber) on the R Street frontage, and on the WAL Public Market.

Finishing touches are taking place on the Sacramento College of Architecture – the first such school in California’s Central Valley. Michael F. Malinowski AIA is the architect responsible for conversion of a former muffler shop in Sacramento’s oldest neighborhood to this new use, founded by Professor Umber Kazmi.
