With the Warehouse Artist Loft 116 units fully occupied, the streetfront Bottles and Barlow combo barbershop and bar is getting close to completion, as is the Public Market that is on the loading dock level with a number of the retailers putting finishing touches on their merchandise, and Benjamin busy inside making shoes! The adjacent B&G continues to move resolutely ahead with major structural work still underway – this is the toughest part of saving this historic 3 story unreinforced brick structure.

After a nearly year long delay due to electric service SMUD issues, the 27th Street Courtyard Homes permit process completed this week! This five detached single family home infill development is only a couple of blocks from our office. Construction will be starting soon.

Adjacent to the Warehouse Artist Lofts the B&G takes shape . a tough build for Bahram Konjkav who is handling the heavy steel. He’s still smiling so it’s not all bad

All are invited to the Grand Opening of the WAL. There will be many artists performing throughout the facility after the public speeches are completed. Given this project is fully occupied, this will be one of the rare times the public can take a peek.

At a celebration this morning the Warehouse Artists Lofts was named Sacramento 2015 Transit Oriented Project of the Year. Accepting the Award at the Hyatt Regency Ballroom today on behalf of the project team was Ali Youssefi, VP of CFY Development.
