Historic Ridgeway nearing completion

Adaptive reuse of the Historic Ridgeway Hotel for affordable studio apartments is nearing completion in downtown Sacramento. This project save a boarded up 56 unit boarding house – built at the turn of the century and one of Sacramento’s last examples of Bay Windows along the Alley construction – by converting it into 21 smart studio apartments. All the significant historic fabric was retained, but all the interiors, fixtures, fittings and building operational and safety systems are new. Michael F.
